okay but imagine the rangers ACTUALLY starting a band, and they turn out pretty good, and get some level of fame and zordon is just pissed like “YOU’RE MAKING IT HARDER TO CONCEAL YOUR IDENTITY” and he’s lookin to alpha for backup and alpha is just like “….they said i could play the triangle”
See, but starting a band is actually a really solid cover for them? Zordon prolly wouldn’t get it but.

If they incorporate the Ranger symbol it’s like… it’s the ultimate ‘these guys couldn’t possibly be superheroes’ card.
Because c’mon. C’mon. ‘It’d be ridiculous is these superheroes who show up to save our town and battle giant monsters in a giant robot ALSO formed a band with their secret identities, that’s like something out of a TV show!’
They can say BS like ‘The Power Rangers are our BIGGEST FANS’ and then also have like, Jason as the Red Ranger get stopped by tenacious entertainment reporters who don’t care about the giant monster they need the scoop, and start some kind of ridiculous Kapoor vs Semple internet throwdown.
